The only thing constant in life is change. Please think about that for just a minute. Good or bad, you have changed over the past year; I have changed.   • Recognize Change
    Awareness of change is the first step to the new you.Take just a moment and think back to this time last year. What were you contemplating? What were your relationships like? Did you go on a diet? Are you in better health now? What ideas didn’t work out? What new ideas do you have now based on a year of change? How have you changed?

    Rate Change
    To rate or measure change you must have a basis or a starting point. If you were all excited about loosing weight last year and went on a diet, an easy measurement of change for you would be your weight. How much did you weight in January of 2005 and how much do you weigh now? That’s a true measurement. It works the same way with income, relationships, health, business, etc… At what rate have the most important things in your life changed? Are you changing in the right direction?

    Recalculate Change
    This is the great part. You are the only person in the world that can change you! You are also the only person in the world who can get in your way! Independent of your current situation, you have the innate power to change. Webster defines innate as “applies to qualities or characteristics that are part of one’s inner essential nature” Street language defines innate as “you’ve got what it takes baby!” The choice is yours… Don’t allow anyone or anything to make changes for you. You have the innate power to change yourself!

    Resolve to Change
    Please allow me to offer the key to positive change. It begins with a question – how willing and determined are you to make the changes necessary to create the life you desire? For successful positive change you must do what it takes or RESOLVE to make changes in your life necessary to live the life you desire! Webster defines resolve as “to deal with successfully, to find an answer and to make clear or understandable” Street language defines resolve as: doing what it takes for as long as it takes” Determine now to change and begin living the life you desire!

    From a Biblical Perspective
    My favorite scripture in the Bible is found in Ephesians 3:20 – Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, NIV. I found a long time ago that my intellect alone wasn’t enough to accomplish my dreams and maintain lasting success. When I discovered that there was someone who really loved me and wasn’t there to condemn me but wanted to help me in everything that I did, I thought I would burst with joy and excitement. While this newfound revelation (new to me anyway) didn’t keep me from experiencing problems, it did give me the capacity to go through problems with great success! My intent is not to push a religious point of view on anyone, but to bear witness of a relationship with my Creator that literally changed every area of my life for the good. This relationship is a free gift and available for the asking. If you want His power to be at work on the inside of you…just ask and you will receive. Resolve within yourself now to make the changes necessary, before another year goes by, to live the life you desire.
